Client Services Director
Luc Abraham is the Client Services Director at Surrogate Alternatives (SAI). He has supported surrogates and Intended Parents for the past three years. Luc is known for his warmth, strong communication skills, and ability to guide families through the earliest and most meaningful stages of the surrogacy process. Today, he brings not only professional experience but also personal understanding, since he recently became a parent through surrogacy himself. As a result, he is able to connect with families on a deeper level.
About Luc
Before joining SAI, Luc used his degree in Education to build a career in customer service and human resources. He worked his way from Customer Care Manager to HR Administrator. During this time, he strengthened his ability to listen, support, and advocate for others. Now, these same skills help him guide families as they begin their surrogacy journeys with confidence and clarity.
Luc is also a proud member of the LGBTQ community. He and his husband recently welcomed their first child through surrogacy. Overall, the experience transformed his perspective on parenthood and the work he does every day. Because of this, Luc understands the emotions, hopes, challenges, and gratitude that Intended Parents experience throughout the process.
His Surrogacy Perspective as a Parent
Luc knows what it feels like to dream of growing your family and to wait for the moment your baby arrives. His surrogacy journey was filled with highs, uncertainties, milestones, and joy. As a result, he relates to Intended Parents on a deeply personal level. In addition, being “on the other side” gives him unique insight into what Intended Parents truly need during the matching and early stages. For example, he understands how much reassurance and communication matter.
Luc Abraham’s Role at Surrogate Alternatives
In his role as Client Services Director at Surrogate Alternatives, Luc helps surrogates and Intended Parents navigate the beginning of their journeys. He plays a key role in matching, early communication, and preparing families for the process ahead. Luc believes every Intended Parent deserves to feel supported, informed, and encouraged, so he works hard to make the experience welcoming, organized, and emotionally safe.
For Luc, the most meaningful part of his work is seeing Intended Parents reach the moment they have long hoped for: the moment they finally meet their child. He considers it an honor to help families move toward that life-changing experience, and he guides them with compassion, patience, and steady encouragement.
What I love about my job:
- Even being a teeny, tiny piece on the spectrum of helping to bring new life into this world is the most rewarding job I can think of.
- Being able to assist Intended Parents fulfill their lifelong dream of having a child warms my heart.
- Working at an agency that truly understands and knows what it’s like be a Surrogate is important to me. It helps the bonding and relationship building process.
