Jennifer Cannon – Surrogate Program Director
Jennifer Cannon is the Surrogate Program Director at Surrogate Alternatives (SAI). Surrogacy has been a defining part of her life for more than a decade, and she brings deep experience, compassion, and firsthand understanding to every surrogate she supports.
About Jennifer
Jennifer began exploring surrogacy in 2012, spending a year learning everything she could about the process before being matched with her first Intended Parents in 2013. She delivered their son in 2014 and helped complete their family the following year by delivering their daughter in 2015. Soon after, she supported a single father on his path to parenthood and delivered his son in 2016.
Although she originally planned to retire from surrogacy, Jennifer felt called to help one more family. In 2017, she was matched again and delivered boy/girl twins in 2018. Her four journeys shaped her heart, strengthened her purpose, and inspired her commitment to supporting future surrogates with empathy and honesty.
Her Surrogacy Perspective
Having walked the journey herself multiple times, Jennifer understands the emotional, physical, and personal dimensions of surrogacy better than anyone. She knows the hopes, fears, joys, and uncertainties surrogates experience and uses that insight to guide women through each step with clarity and reassurance. Jennifer believes every surrogate deserves genuine support, consistent communication, and advocacy throughout her journey.
Jennifer’s Role at Surrogate Alternatives
As Surrogate Program Director, Jennifer oversees the surrogate intake and support process, helping each woman feel welcomed, informed, and encouraged from the very beginning. She works closely with surrogates to ensure they understand the process, feel confident in their choices, and know they are never walking the journey alone.
For Jennifer, the most meaningful part of her role is empowering surrogates to change lives in incredible ways. Even though she is no longer a surrogate herself, her passion lives on through the women she guides, supports, and champions every day.
