As Lead Case Manager at SAI, I work daily with Surrogates and Intended Parents to assess their financial needs and provide support in any way needed. This could mean going over reimbursements for surrogates or going over deposits and ledgers with Intended Parents. Being that support to both Intended Parents and surrogate in any way is what I do. I enjoy being apart of the journey!
A little about myself, I am a proud military wife with an amazing husband. I had three children when I started at SAI in 2018 and now have four wonderful children of my own (three girls and one boy). As a hometown San Diego girl, I enjoy being outdoors; hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, bike riding with my family is actually my favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon! As you can imagine, family is very important to me. I come from a large family. I’m one of nine children! Having a big family means having loud family get-togethers; lots of love, arguing or loud conversations, playing cards and building those memorable moments. I completed my first surrogacy, and gave birth to boy/girl twins in May of 2018. I then completed my second journey, delivering a baby girl, in November of 2020. Along with the birth of my own children, being a surrogate has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
The things I love about my job:
- I have always enjoyed critical thinking, numbers and finances. Crunching numbers and following a contract is a challenge that I gladly accept.
- This job is an opportunity to help other women achieve something I truly believe, in my heart, is a gift. To have the chance to help them build a family is something that I don’t consider work at all, but more like my passion.
FUN FACTS:
I am child number six, out of nine, in my family. One of my brothers played professional ball for the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. I am really good at line dancing and I pick up new dance moves very easily. I have always enjoyed playing sports myself (volleyball, softball and soccer) and I also coach my daughter’s sports team (Go Panthers!!)
