Celebrating Red Nose Day With Surrogate Alternatives, Inc.

May 26, 2016

Surrogate Alternatives, Inc. is proud to help celebrate Red Nose Day 2016 with a little fun and laughter while helping to make a difference in children’s lives. SAI reached out to a few of our surrogates and asked them to join us in celebrating Red Nose Day, because who better than our surro angels who help build families! Right!? Being silly through Red Nose for charity never felt so good!

Red Nose Day is a special day to have fun, come together and make a difference for kids. Uniting celebrities, comedy and YOU, Red Nose Day raises awareness and money to help kids who need our help the most – here at home and around the world.

On May 26, people across the country will get involved by wearing Red Noses, organizing FUN-raisers and watching the live TV special that brings together the biggest stars for a night of fun and laughs all in the name of an awesome cause, only on NBC, 9-11 p.m ET.

Red Nose Day is on a mission to fight kids poverty and has raised over $1 billion globally in the last 25 years. Money raised helps to change the lives of children and young people in need through projects to keep them safe, healthy and educated.

Half of the money will support programs right here in America. The other half will support programs in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Every dollar helps! You probably hear that a lot, but what does it mean? These are some of the incredible ways your money will help kids in need.*

In the U.S.:

$1.00: A meal for a child living in a homeless shelter.

$5.00: Medical supplies for a doctor’s visit at a mobile clinic.

$7.00: Books, supplies and activities to help a child keep reading skills sharp during the summer.

$35.00: An eye exam and glasses for a child in need.

Internationally:

$5.00: Antibiotics to treat a child with pneumonia.

$4.00: An anti-malarial net to protect a mother and her baby.

$50.00: Provides a baby with vaccinations for 6 diseases, nutritional supplements and check-ups.

If you’re interested in helping a child please go to http://rednoseday.org and donate today.
